What we do

At present we are still brainstorming a lot. Our priorities for now go in the following directions:

  • Knowledge database: Setting up a knowledge base about loneliness and making key information easily available for concerned people.

  • Meetups: Inspired by the movement of the Alcoholics Anonymous (but with a science based approach) we define formats of meetups, then test and improve them to empower individuals anywhere to replicate them and thus help people to feel less lonely.

  • Exploring ideas: It’s only through constantly searching for new ideas that we discover ways to do things better. While this is at present we do this in an informal way, we intend to organize gatherings (such as hackathons) specifically focusing on the development of ideas and projects dealing with loneliness.

  • Science connections: Our approach is generally science based. We seek to establish contacts with research institutes to systematically evaluate the work we do.
