Unalone.live is a project in its very early stage of development. We have plenty of ideas, but without a big organisation behind us, we do what we can in the little time we have. As such, things progress slowly.

At present, we hang out on discord about once a week to exchange ideas and insights. In parallel we work on this website and slowly progress towards testing out different formats of meetups.

If you would like to join us and make a difference in your life and the life of others, you’d be most welcome.

Our idea is to initiate something that is easily accessible for people to replicate on a local level. As such, we don’t have any specific requirements except:

• Patience. Rome was not built in a day. Nor were famous online services such as Instagram orTwitter. We don’t get out of loneliness from one day to the other (usually). At present we still work on the overall concept (and this website). On the long term: If we really want to make a difference, we really have to do a lot of trial and error, evaluate, improve, try again until we have something that works.
• Time and continuity: Just being present and giving feedback from time to time is great. An hour or two per week is enough. But to make this grow, we need people who can commit a little bit of time regularly.
• Curiosity: What we do is quite new. We don’t really know where this leads us, but we are willing to try out and see what happens, then try out again and make it better. Oh, and it’s also about curiosity towards the other humans we all are.
